  Jacking Pipes are used when there is natural obstacles such as mountains, and lakes or a problematic urban locations (built-up areas and commercial centers) or traffic obstacles such as road, railroads and air traffic.

Reinforced Concrete Jacking Pipes

Reinforced Concrete Jacking Pipes manufactured by aj Pipe & Concrete Products Factory are designed and manufactured according to ASTM C76 or DIN (Standard specification for precast reinforced concrete culvert storm & sewer pipes).

Reinforced Concrete Pipes have been used for :

• Sanitary sewers.
• Corrosive industrial waste water.
• Storm water drainage.
• Culverts.

But with minor modifications to the steel reinforcement at the design stage, reinforced concrete pipe can be used for jacking operations. When surface conditions make it difficult to install pipes by conventional open excavation and back filling methods, or when it's necessary to install pipes under an existing embankments, installing by jacking or tunneling is used.

Reinforced concrete pipes are ideally suited for tunneling and jacking pipes under railroads, airport runways, congested streets and highways is also a common practice.

Sanitary and sewer jacking pipes can be protected internally with P.V.C, HDPE, or GRP lining and painted with bitumen externally
